    Also a Shemekia Fan for years. Very talented young lady with a beautiful story. My friends and I have followed her around the States at different festival and beyond… Love her and her band!!!

    shemekia sings beautiful i saw her in davenport ia shortly after her father passed she is one of the greatest new female artists of 2009 looking forward to seeing her at the casino in millwakee on may 21st you go girl

    I met Shemekia few weeks ago when her band played for one week in Paris (Lionel Hampton Jazz Club). A great woman who deserves a lot. We had a fun. Thanks for posting !

    I gotta tell since hearing Shemekia Copeland I have been listening to her everyday. I love her style and her smooth voice.

    This performance is vintage Shemekia! We are long time fans and have every CD she has ever recorded. She is pure talent, a classy lady, with an incredible personality and stage presence. If you are not a Blues fan you will be after you see her perform live.

    Saw Shemekia at national folk festival in Butte, MT Last year. She is amazing. We missed her this year. Thankfully we had Magic Slim to take care of our blues connection. Maybe next year we can have them both. Wow What a night that would be!

    I never saw her in concert, but am going to see her at the Tampa Bay Blues Festival in April. I absolutely love her voice and can’t wait to see her.
